Inaplast Status of Innovation operates in three segments: Moulds, Plastics and Aluminum. The moulds manufacturing unit was established as Industrial de Ferramentas BG in 1978, in Bento Gonçalves, RS. It was founded by Nelson Basso and other four friends.

In 1985, Lourenço Gregio enters into the partnership. Over the years, only Gregio and Basso have continued in charge of Inaplast.

The Plastics segment, the second major business of Inaplast, was set up in 1992. Its main activity was the injection of plastic for spice jars, corks for sparkling wine bottles and caps for demijohns.

Bento Gonçalves, famous for being the land of wine, is also known as a furniture center, another important niche exploited by Inaplast Plastics and Aluminum.

Supplying a diverse range of industries, Inaplast Innovation in Plastics has expanded its market share and currently manufactures and sells plastic components to companies from different sectors, providing the differential advantage of producing in-house moulds, resulting in more streamlined service.
